Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Farmington Hills, MI
Job Description: A highly respected personal injury firm in Farmington Hills seeks a skilled legal assistant with at least 5 years of law firm experience. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to attorneys and help manage the day-to-day operations of our legal practice.
Benefits:
Salary: $55,000-70,000 commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and answer inquiries.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails, prioritizing urgent correspondence.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
5 years of experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal assistant required
Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
