LHH is seeking a Bilingual Recruiter for a client in the construction Industry. The Bilingual Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding skilled and unskilled laborers, as well as administrative staff for various construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction industry and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various construction roles.

  • Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.

  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications to ensure they meet the job requirements.

  • Coordinate and conduct job fairs and other recruitment events to attract potential candidates.

  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.

  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely updates on recruitment progress.

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and recruitment activities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, educational institutions, and other relevant partners to support recruitment efforts.

  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and suggest improvements to the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

  • Strong understanding of construction industry roles and requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
