LHH has partnered with a company in the medical field in Flint, Michigan, and is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team! This is a Direct Hire role and will be fully onsite Monday - Friday, and offers flexible working hours between 7:00am- 7:00pm.
Responsibilities:
Oversee comprehensive payroll operations using UKG, encompassing data input, payroll computations, and salary distribution.
Manage and update employee records within UKG, ensuring precise details on salaries, benefits, and deductions.
Ensure adherence to UK employment laws and regulations, including tax withholdings, national insurance contributions, and other statutory obligations.
Produce and evaluate payroll reports, detailing earnings, deductions, and taxes, and provide management with relevant insights.
Address and resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies from employees and management promptly.
Work with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve any UKG system issues; participate in system upgrades and testing.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance payroll procedures.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of payroll experience, with extensive use of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in UKG, with a thorough understanding of payroll systems, HRIS, and related software tools.
Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional accuracy in payroll processing and financial record maintenance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Proven ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
