Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Location: Onsite in Forest Grove, Oregon
Type: Direct hire, permanent
Pay Rate: $24-$25 per hour
Benefits:
2 weeks of PTO + 16 holidays + sick time
Medical and dental premiums are mostly paid for by the company. Vision also offered.

Job Summary:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, assisting with the recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized professional with excellent communication skills. Although previous experience in Human Resources is a plus for this role, it is not a requirement as long as you have at least two years of administrative knowledge and the desire to learn HR!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, file maintenance, and preparing HR documents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome packets and coordinating orientation sessions.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Administrative duties such as coordinating meetings and taking minutes, reviewing and submitting expense reports.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in a similar HR position is preferred, OR 2 years of administrative experience with the desire to learn HR.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, basic Excel)
Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
