Property Accountant
Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Property Accountant job in Lone Tree, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role. This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $65,000 and $75,000. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:
- Posting journal entries
- Managing cash transactions
- Managing prepaids and accruals
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Researching and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing financial statements
- Using Excel to analyze data sets
- Running recurring and ad hoc reports
- Reviewing coding of procurement card transactions
- Assisting in improving and standardizing accounting practices, policies, and procedures
- Assisting with system implementations
- Completing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax filings
- All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
- At least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
- Previous industry experience in property management, real estate, etc. preferred
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Compensation:
- Annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000
