LHH is seeking an experienced litigation legal secretary interested in a full-time job opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, proofreading, and redlining legal documents, agreements, and correspondence; general file management; heavy calendaring and schedule management for the attorneys; anticipating attorney needs and being proactive about finding solutions; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, helpful attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.
Qualifications:
3+ years of legal secretary experience, preferably in a large firm; transactional experience is a plus!
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
High accuracy and attention to detail when proofreading, typing, and with client billing
Solid organizational and time management skills and the ability to work well independently
Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset
Salary: $70,000-$75,000/yr.
