LHH is seeking an experienced litigation legal secretary interested in a full-time job opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, proofreading, and redlining legal documents, agreements, and correspondence; general file management; heavy calendaring and schedule management for the attorneys; anticipating attorney needs and being proactive about finding solutions; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, helpful attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of legal secretary experience, preferably in a large firm; transactional experience is a plus!

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • High accuracy and attention to detail when proofreading, typing, and with client billing

  • Solid organizational and time management skills and the ability to work well independently

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset

Salary: $70,000-$75,000/yr.
