Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week in Foster City, Oakland, or Union City)

Position Overview: As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize data workflows, and provide actionable insights. This role requires expertise in data movement, data modeling, and database cleanup, with a strong emphasis on automation and efficiency. This is a 3 to 6 month contract assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Movement and Cleanup: Develop and maintain automated processes for moving data from internal systems to external systems through secure SharePoint servers. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by cleaning and transforming raw data.
Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that support business requirements and enhance data accessibility.
Technical Skills: Utilize Power Automate (formerly known as Microsoft Flow) for data movement and automation. Proficiency in SQL is essential, with a preference for candidates who also have experience with Python.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to build and maintain dashboards, although this is less likely to be a primary responsibility as the current staff is capable of handling it.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data processes and solutions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in data movement, data modeling, and database cleanup.
Proficiency in Power Automate or similar tools like Python.
Strong technical skills in SQL and experience with data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with secure data transfer protocols and SharePoint servers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, with 2 days in office per week in Foster City, Oakland, or Union City.
Education: BS in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
