LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client near Frankfort, KY. In this position, you will have the chance to collaborate with diverse manufacturing equipment and product lines, spearhead projects to enhance performance, introduce Lean initiatives, and more. The compensation will range between $75,000-90,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Utilize industry expertise in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials, while working closely with production associates.
· Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues during the manufacturing process.
· Enhance manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, optimizing space, and equipment layout.
· Devise innovative solutions to tackle complex challenges encountered during the manufacturing process.
· Design, modify, and test manufacturing methods and equipment to develop efficient manufacturing processes that meet product requirements and achieve desired results.
· Collaborate with operations and management teams to establish a shared vision for daily tasks and subsequently report on the progress of those activities.
· Detect and address process operating issues, investigate equipment failures, create follow-up action reports, and provide technical support to floor workers.
· Work together with maintenance, production, and engineering teams, as well as external contractors, to enhance equipment care, services, repairs, and work practices.
· Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required
· Minimum of two years of manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing setting is required
· Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment
· Must possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics
