LHH is seeking a Materials Planning Manager candidate for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in the Frankfort, KY area. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for overseeing the flow of materials, ensuring timely production schedules, and coordinating with suppliers. Compensation ranges from $70,000 - 90,000/year plus bonus and includes very affordable insurance program options, 401K match, and generous PTO and holiday offerings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicate with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to address any material-related issues.
· Generate and manage documentation for material shipments.
· Provide support for post-delivery issues, including handling returns and complaints.
· Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures.
· Set guidelines for safety stock and reorder points.
· Handle urgent material requests and changes in production schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ years of experience in a supply-chain related position
· Bachelor's degree or a 2-year associate degree preferred
