About Us:

Our new client is a dynamic and growing manufacturing company specializing in precision machines. Their dedicated team is committed to innovation and quality, and we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join them in ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Position Overview:

As the Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and supporting our management team with accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and cash transactions.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice management and payment processing.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers as needed.

  • Handle payroll processing and related employee records.

  • Provide support for various financial and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role in a manufacturing or small business environment.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) a plus.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $35.00 per hour
