Staff Accountant

San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Do you have at least three years of accounting experience supporting in a start-up environment? Do you have at least three years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP? We are looking for an accounting professional for a growing start-up in San Francisco. This role does have remote work opportunities, and be perfect for someone with 3+ years of accounting experience as a staff accountant in a start-up. Job Responsibilities you will have:

-Oversee and manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.

-Assist in the month-end close process by reconciling accounts payable and receivable balances with the general ledger

-Prepare month-end financial reports

-Support controller with special projects

-Reconciliations

-Other responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications you will need:

-Bachelors degree

-3+ years of Accounting experience as a Staff or AP Accountant

-Experience with QuickBooks

-Excellent communication skills

-Able to thrive in fast-paced start-up environment

-Strong GAAP knowledge
