Job Posting: Temporary Accounting Clerk (Up to 5 Months)
Location: French Camp, CA
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Are you detail-oriented with intermediate Excel skills? We are seeking a temporary Accounting Clerk to join our team for up to 5 months. In this role, you’ll help with essential tasks such as processing mail, managing stale-dated checks, and supporting internal communication efforts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute undeliverable mail.
Work with stale-dated checks.
Scan and upload documents to shared drives.
Assist with email inquiries, particularly regarding provider refunds.
Communicate with various departments to resolve issues.
Experience:
2 years of general office experience preferred.
Accounting experience is not required.
Skills:
Detail-oriented.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
Prepare invoices for payment, calculate and post month-end entries, review and adjust ledgers.
Compile and review financial documents (vouchers, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices) for accuracy; identify and correct incomplete or incorrect items.
Review GL coding of vouchers, requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices; correct routine errors.
Compile and review supporting documentation for various county, state, and federal reports; research and correct incomplete or incorrect items.
