LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our nonprofit client in hiring a DMH Billing Specialist. This position will be 100% onsite in the Gardena area and will be a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

This position will be the sole biller for the organization, specifically billing to the Department of Mental Health. Interested candidates must be familiar with DMH processes and procedures and be able to jump right in and assist in submitting claims, correcting denials and resubmitting, and performing other billing duties.

• Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree strongly desired
• Minimum 3 years experience in behavioral health billing
• Experience using the Exym software system required

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks throughout the day
• Can work well independently with little to no assistance
• Able to meet deadlines and production expectations as outlined by management
• Excellent attnention to detail
