LHH is seeking an Inventory Admin for a hybrid role (on site and work from home) in Gardena, CA. This is a direct hire role and training is available for the inventory aspect of the job.

Pay is up to $22/hour.

POSITION SUMMARY

Working independently and exercising good judgement and discretion, this position is primarily responsible for receiving, reserving and maintaining inventory at all warehouses. This position is responsible for maintaining and managing the integrity of product coming in and out of our warehouses. This position processes and coordinates all purchases for inventory items. This candidate communicates highly and effectively with Account Management and Logistics to ensure orders are shipped in full and in a timely manner with product that meets customer requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Receiving – Receive all product that has delivered to our warehouses.

2. Accuracy – Maintains 99% accuracy on all inventory data. Ensure accuracy of lot numbers, pack dates and shelf life for all inbound product.

3. E-mails – Addresses all e-mail requests ensuring all deadlines are met.

4. Reservations- Reserve available product on open orders in real time using inventory on hand and as product is received to ensure timely shipment of customer orders.

5. Follow-Up – Daily follow up of unresolved tasks is required to maintain 100% fill rate on all customers’ orders. Notify/advise Account Management of any shortages, overages, short shelf life or product issues upon delivery.

6. Transfer orders – Create and receive Transfer Orders for product moving between warehouses.

7. Metrics – Provides information for department metrics. Monthly reporting and maintenance of label and box inventories.

8. USDA/USDA inspection – Submit requests for inspections and certs as needed with USDA and USDC while coordinating with the warehouses.

9. Inventory Management- Work with inventory supervisor on weekly and monthly reconciliations of warehouse inventory reporting. Research & resolve all inventory discrepancies and issues.

10. Claims-Process ROP’s to packers/vendors and claims with warehouses in 24-48 hrs.

11. QA Testing – Coordinate samples for QA testing, food shows, customer requests or Sales.

12. Cross Training- Backup Logistics Coordinators on domestic shipments.

13. Problem Solving - Utilizes job knowledge to resolve problems and suggest inventory opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.

14. Strictly adheres to Richmond Wholesale’s employment policies, departmental operating policies, and all federal and state regulatory and compliance laws pertaining to our business and industry.

15. Actively maintains a collaborative spirit/dialogue with other departments and Associates to promote workplace harmony and productivity, embracing and fostering the Company’s mission.
