We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join our client’s growing team. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing safety, health, environment, business continuity, facility security, and DOT processes. The main goal is to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor plant and management team members to ensure employee health and environmental protection.
Ensure compliance with government regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) and corporate policies.
Foster EHS culture improvement with strategic action plans.
Continuously improving the EHS management system.
Identify and mitigate facility safety/health/environmental hazards.
Develop and implement EHS Annual Operating Plans and Action Plans.
Achieve targets for Lost Time, Recordable, Severity, and Environmental metrics.
Conduct EHS training, audits, and assessments.
Manage OSHA actions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate EHS records and implement sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Safety and Environmental Management,
At least 3 years of manufacturing experience within Safety Management.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
