Warehouse Manager V

Perm and Fully onsite in Goldsboro, NC

Pay low $55K high $70K depending on experience

Position Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations related to the routing and management of transport vehicles at the warehouse facility.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Directs and guides warehouse staff on a daily basis.

· Performs regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

· Manages all warehouse functions—including sales order loading, transport vehicle loading, inventory control, and ensuring facility safety and security—across all shifts, 24/7. This facility handles fewer than 1.5 million cases annually.

· Prepares and completes all documentation related to incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Makes sure the warehouse team is properly staffed, well-managed, and thoroughly trained.

· Delivers prompt service to the sales department while keeping warehouse and production costs low.

· Ensures orders are loaded quickly and correctly.

· Must be capable of operating and backing combination vehicles (tractor and trailer) to the dock.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma required, a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or a related area.

· Preferably has at least three (3) years’ experience supervising within warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing.

· Experience in supervising and training team members.

· Familiarity with SAP is desirable.

· Strong communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external partners.

· Mathematical and data entry abilities.

· Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, especially during peak periods like summer and holidays.

· Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.

Physical Requirements

· Frequently required to walk and stand.

· Occasionally required to climb, sit, push/pull, bend, and lift items under 50 pounds.

Tools and Equipment

· Utilize Microsoft Office software, forklifts, and various equipment.

Supervisory Duties

· Oversee a team or department consisting of six employees.

Language Proficiency

· Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English.
