As a Leave of Absence Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering and managing all aspects of employee leave programs, including FMLA, medical leave, maternity leave, and other types of absences. You will work closely with employees, managers, and HR to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, medical leave, maternity leave, and other types of absences.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding leave policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee leave requests and approvals.
Coordinate with HR and payroll to ensure accurate processing of leave-related payments and benefits.
Communicate with employees throughout their leave period to provide updates and support.
Utilize HRIS systems to track and manage leave data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in leave of absence administration or a similar role.
Knowledge of FMLA, medical leave, maternity leave, and other leave laws and regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
