$19.00 - $23.00 per Hour
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, providing recommendations for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
