Accounts Payable Associate

$20.00 - $25.00 per Hour


Overview: . This role is essential for ensuring that vendor invoices are processed and verified efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Enter invoices into the ERP system and manage them through the automated approval workflow.
  • Assist Internal Audit with information requests.
  • Support end-of-month Accounts Payable closure.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve any issues.
  • Obtain necessary W9 or W8 forms for all new vendors.
  • Assist in compiling information for the annual 1099 process.
  • Handle inquiries from vendors and internal staff regarding invoice processing and payment status.

Qualifications:


Education:


  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred, particularly in Accounting or Finance.

Experience:


  • Minimum of two years of related accounts payable or administrative experience required.
  • Experience with multi-location companies is preferred.
  • Experience working with international vendors is preferred.

Software Proficiency:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is required.
