Accounts Receivable Clerk

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring that clients are invoiced correctly and payments are collected in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Management: Generate, review, and distribute invoices to clients in accordance with company guidelines.
- Payment Processing: Accurately record and apply payments, resolve payment discrepancies, and manage refunds.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable records with general ledger accounts.
- Customer Communication: Engage with clients to follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing issues.
- Reporting: Prepare regular accounts receivable reports and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Documentation: Maintain organized records and ensure that all transactions comply with legal and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP), MS Office (especially Excel), and strong attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve discrepancies and manage client accounts efficiently.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
