The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality support to customers by answering inquiries, providing solutions, and performing accurate data entry. This role involves managing phone calls, addressing customer concerns, and working with data in Excel to ensure seamless customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing helpful information.
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues by following company protocols and offering appropriate solutions.
Perform accurate data entry of customer information, orders, and other relevant details into the company’s system.
Utilize Excel to maintain, organize, and analyze customer data and generate reports as needed.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to address customer needs and provide feedback on recurring issues.
Process customer orders and assist with order tracking, ensuring customers are kept informed about the status of their requests.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and policies to provide up-to-date information to customers.
Assist with other administrative duties as assigned, such as filing, emailing, and reporting.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus).
1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, spreadsheet management, and basic formula use.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
