Position Overview
As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the technical liaison between the company and its customers, supporting sales and business development teams to drive growth and deliver high-quality interconnect solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with key design influencers at strategic accounts.
Support sales teams in developing and executing growth strategies.
Lead technical aspects of sales campaigns for backplane and midplane solutions.
Provide architectural design and signal integrity support to customers.
Analyze customer design files for manufacturability and completeness.
Collaborate with internal engineering and factory teams to resolve technical issues.
Represent the company in customer meetings and industry events.
Provide market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in sales or applications engineering within the electronics industry.
Strong knowledge of PCB technology, high-speed interconnects, and design requirements.
Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually (based on experience)
Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus
