Position Overview

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the technical liaison between the company and its customers, supporting sales and business development teams to drive growth and deliver high-quality interconnect solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key design influencers at strategic accounts.

• Support sales teams in developing and executing growth strategies.

• Lead technical aspects of sales campaigns for backplane and midplane solutions.

• Provide architectural design and signal integrity support to customers.

• Analyze customer design files for manufacturability and completeness.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and factory teams to resolve technical issues.

• Represent the company in customer meetings and industry events.

• Provide market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in sales or applications engineering within the electronics industry.

• Strong knowledge of PCB technology, high-speed interconnects, and design requirements.

• Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international).

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $110,000 – $140,000 annually (based on experience)

• Bonus: Performance-based annual bonus
