Are you a versatile HR professional with a passion for all things Human Resources? We’re looking for an HR Specialist who can manage and excel in every aspect of HR, from recruiting and onboarding to compliance and employee relations. If you’re a self-starter with a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing and onboarding.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand hiring needs and ensure a smooth hiring process.
2. Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Foster a positive work environment through proactive conflict resolution and open communication.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews, using feedback to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
3. HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with audits, including preparing necessary documentation and ensuring adherence to company policies.
4. Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Educate employees about their benefits options and assist with enrollment and changes.
- Work with vendors and brokers to manage benefits offerings and resolve any issues.
5. Payroll & Compensation:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
- Assist with compensation planning, including salary benchmarking and pay structure development.
- Manage time and attendance systems to ensure accurate tracking of hours worked.
6. Training & Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth and development.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ongoing training initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed.
7. Performance Management:
- Guide managers through the performance review process, providing tools and support to ensure effective evaluations.
- Assist in developing performance improvement plans (PIPs) and tracking progress.
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and recognition.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with a broad understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
