We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Coordinator to join a growing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payroll systems, labor laws, and a passion for accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly or weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple departments or locations.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

  • Manage payroll deductions including benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other withholdings.

  • Review and verify timecards, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate pay calculations.

  • Prepare payroll reports for internal stakeholders and support month-end reporting needs.

  • Maintain employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll and data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience required; multi-state payroll experience a plus.

  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, UKG, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations and compliance.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

  • Familiarity with timekeeping systems such as Kronos, UKG, or similar.

  • Knowledge of union and non-union payroll (if applicable to your business).



Pay Details: $58,500.00 to $65,000.00 per year
