Duties & Responsibilities:
Accurately input purchase orders into the ERP system, covering diverse categories and multiple locations.
Collaborate with department requisitioners to validate order quantities, address price discrepancies, and confirm the receipt of goods.
Ensure timely processing of invoices by coordinating with Accounts Payable and forward packing slips to the Procurement Clerk in line with segregation of duties.
Welcome and assist company guests and visitors with professionalism and a friendly demeanor, handling inquiries as needed.
Provide backup clerical support to the Procurement Department and other teams during times of high demand or reduced staffing.
Required Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related role.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or a similar MRP/ERP platform.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially in intermediate to advanced Excel and Word functions.
Ability to work well with all levels of staff, both internally and externally, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Eagerness to learn and embrace process changes as necessary.
