Billing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Supervisor with at least five years of supervisory experience to lead our billing team. This role requires expertise in Epic and a strong background in managing daily billing operations, training staff, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of mentoring a team and optimizing workflow efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing department, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Utilize Epic to manage billing processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system functionality.

  • Conduct one-on-one discussions with team members to provide feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and performance.

  • Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and workload distribution.

  • Monitor billing metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline billing procedures and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and payer requirements, addressing any compliance concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in billing, revenue cycle management, or a related field.

  • Strong proficiency in Epic and experience optimizing billing workflows within the system.

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, providing coaching and performance management.

  • Experience with training staff, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing regulations, insurance claims, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a billing department.

  • Certification in medical billing or revenue cycle management.

  • Advanced knowledge of industry trends and best practices in medical billing.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
