We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Temporary Accounting Administrative Assistant to support our accounting team during a peak period and transitional phase. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including document preparation and data entry
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, such as invoice entry, payment tracking, and vendor communication
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents and reports
Reconcile statements and assist with basic financial reporting
Prepare spreadsheets, summaries, and ad hoc reports as requested by the finance team
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting and billing
Support month-end close activities and other special projects as needed
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in handling financial records
Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative support role
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Previous experience in a finance or accounting department
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Pay Details: $21.00 to $26.00 per hour
