As a temporary bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
- Process invoices, track payments, and manage vendor accounts.
- Ensure timely payment of bills and accurate recording of transactions.
- Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate reports to support informed decision-making.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Utilize financial software for data entry and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with Payroll Processing:
- Collaborate with HR or payroll departments to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Record payroll transactions and maintain payroll records.
- General Administrative Tasks:
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, and managing paperwork.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Proficient in financial record-keeping.
- 1+ year experience in Accounting role
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
