LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a VP of Revenue Cycle Operations in Greenbelt, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring efficient billing operations, and maximizing revenue for our healthcare clients.

Responsibilities:

This is a leadership role requiring strategic vision and the ability to articulate that vision to the PE board (will present to the board monthly)

  • Manage and oversee the entire revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize revenue cycle performance

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance revenue

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including billing specialists and finance professionals, to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections

  • Stay up to date with healthcare regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and maximize revenue opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare administration, business, or related field - masters a plus

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry

  • Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, coding systems, and insurance regulations

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements

  • Experience with revenue cycle management software preferred
