LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a client east of Indianapolis, Indiana seeking an experienced Cash Application Specialist This role will support a growing accounting team and report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply daily cash receipts (lockbox, ACH, CC)

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies

  • Set up and maintain accounts receivable new customer accounts, cash files, and other records

  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail and fax

  • Investigate and resolve general customer queries

  • Process adjustments

  • Perform other accounting duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 plus years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar Accounting function

  • Prefer experience with Prophet 21, but not required

  • Intermediate or above experience with Excel

  • Prefer experience with using customer portals (ex: Ariba, Taulia) but not required
