LHH is partnering with a well-respected law firm in Greensboro, NC, to find an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation-focused paralegal to join a dynamic legal team handling complex and high-stakes business disputes.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of business litigation, from case initiation to trial and appeal.
Draft, edit, and manage legal documents, including pleadings, discovery materials, subpoenas, and trial preparation files.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accurate electronic filing and document retrieval.
Conduct factual investigations and legal research to aid in case development and strategy.
Assist in all aspects of e-discovery, including reviewing and producing documents.
Coordinate depositions, hearings, and critical court deadlines.
Prepare trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Communicate professionally with clients, experts, court staff, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal in business or commercial litigation.
Solid knowledge of federal and North Carolina civil procedures.
Skilled in using litigation support software and legal research tools such as Relativity, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred.
