LHH is seeking a HR Administrator that will play a critical role in supporting daily operations within the Human Resources department. This position involves collaborating with the HR leadership team to address and resolve HR-related matters and ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate pre-employment screenings, including background checks, reference verifications, and drug testing.
Maintain and organize personnel records, including new hire documentation, within the HR Information System to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees, assist with benefits enrollment, and manage the annual performance review cycle.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies during recruitment and hiring activities.
Report and escalate employee relations concerns to HR leadership as necessary.
Prepare HR-related reports and correspondence, manage phone inquiries, and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders.
Act as a subject matter expert on HR-related projects and provide guidance on HR processes and best practices.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a firm grasp of grammar, spelling, and professional composition.
Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and hospital-related protocols (if applicable).
Ability to provide empathetic, client-focused support while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy.
Proficiency with computers and software applications, including systems for managing HR records. Experience with Mac-based systems is a plus.
Capable of working independently while also being receptive to guidance on specific tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a hospital or veterinary environment is advantageous but not required.
Familiarity with medical or industry-specific terminology is a plus.
Pay: $52,000
Depending on the specific client, location, and role benefit may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
