Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR team providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of HR initiatives. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hospital’s goals, fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and growth.
- Provide leadership in managing employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. Promote employee well-being and resolve concerns proactively. Develop and implement employee development programs and initiatives to support continuous learning and growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across all locations. Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency in employee management and organizational practices.
- Oversee the performance management system, ensuring regular evaluations, feedback, and performance reviews are conducted in a timely manner. Support managers in creating individual development plans for employees and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and meet the needs of the workforce. Collaborate with external partners to manage benefit offerings, conduct compensation analysis, and ensure effective payroll processing.
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data, streamline HR processes, and ensure accurate recordkeeping. Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, drive decision-making, and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Develop and oversee workplace safety and wellness programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant health and safety requirements.
- Oversee employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs to foster a positive organizational culture.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance organizational efficiency and performance across multiple locations.
- Participate in senior leadership meetings, providing insights and recommendations on HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles, ideally in healthcare, veterinary, or multi-location settings.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.
- Proven experience in leading HR teams, employee relations, talent management, and HR strategy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and other HR-related software tools.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed.Bottom of Form
