Lhh is looking for a Logistics /Customer Service Candidate.


Involved in the general logistics and order processing from start to finish.

  • Activities such as entering orders, order placement, importation/exportation, and delivery.
  • Facilitate the shipping of products from origin to customer.
  • Prepare, review & dispatch Purchase Order with shipping instructions to vendor.
  • Prepare, review & dispatch Import Instructions and documents for customs and FDA entry & customer.
  • Communicate status information to all parties both internally and externally.
  • Work closely with insurance companies to resolve claim of damaged/lost/misplaced goods if occurred.
  • Process invoices for payment (merchandise, import, freight, etc.).
  • Manage inventory, arrange pick-up and replenishment by closely working with the sales managers.

International Trading Department (40%)


  • Compliance with regulations related to export business.
  • Complete Export Control Sheet by conducting necessary search before proceeding with a transaction.
  • Responsible for receiving a high volume of incoming orders from overseas customers or relevant accounts managed by their Manager via telephone, email, and fax, inputting order details accurately into a complex business system (SAP), researching customer requests, and following-up in a timely manner.
  • Create purchase orders and sales orders on SAP system and send them to suppliers and customers respectively.

  • Routinely respond to inquiries from customers regarding product availability & status, shipping details, invoices, credits, returns, literature requests, proof of deliveries, terms of contracts, order status, and sample requests.
  • Reconcile invoice and order discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Figure out costs related to international trading by communicating with relevant parties.
  • Ship samples to customers.

Must have Requirements:


? Minimum 1-3 years of experience with order entry, import logistics, and domestic transportation (import logistics is especially important).


? Basic knowledge of Incoterms.


? Basic knowledge and skills of MS Office.


? A college degree or equivalent experience is required.


? Excellent and effective communication and organization skills.


? Able to multitask, work well with others, be self-directed and prioritize efficiently.


? Experience with import logistics and domestic transportation in pharmaceutical, cosmetics ingredients or fine chemical industry is preferred.


Experience with export logistics is preferred.


Experience of using SAP system is preferred.

  • Permanent Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
  • Full benefits from start date, and PTO of over 4 weeks per calendar year.

HYBRID schedule: if desired WFH (Mon./Fri.) and required office attendance the other 3 days (Tues./Wed./Thurs.).
