Bilingual Leasing Agent – Santa Rosa, CA (Contract) LHH is teaming up with an established non-profit in the property management industry in search of a temporary, bilingual (Spanish) Leasing Agent. This is a wonderful opportunity to help support an organization whose mission is to provide safe and affordable housing to those in need.
This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth and efficient lease-up process, from managing applicant documentation to coordinating move-ins. The Leasing Agent plays a key role in maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency, which directly impacts resident satisfaction and occupancy rates. The ideal candidate speaks Spanish fluently and has proven experience in lease-up processes plus a familiarity with affordable housing programs like Section 8 or tax credits. They should possess strong organizational and communication skills, a valid California Driver’s License, and be comfortable with both desk-based tasks and occasional physical activities. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with lease-up activities, including scheduling and conducting applicant interviews.
Process and prepare applicant files for compliance approval.
Request and verify documentation from third-party agencies.
Prepare approved files for move-in and coordinate with selected candidates to schedule move-in dates and appointments.
Support the Community Manager and/or Leasing Director with various tasks, including marketing efforts and tracking.
Skills/Experience:
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
Experience with lease-up processes, preferably in affordable housing.
Familiarity with Section 8, tax credit, or similar programs is a plus.
Must hold a valid California Driver’s License, have auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
