Job Title: Senior HR Generalist

Location: Hamilton, Ohio

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour

Employment Type: 8–9 Month Contract

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist for an 8 to 9-month contract opportunity with a leading manufacturing client in Hamilton, Ohio. This role requires a strong background in human resources within a manufacturing environment and a proven ability to support both strategic and operational HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Partner with leadership to execute headcount strategies for current and future workforce needs.

  • Manage the full-cycle talent acquisition process for hourly, skilled labor, managerial, exempt, and professional roles.

  • Support employee development, engagement, and motivation initiatives.

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Deliver HR reporting and insights to leadership using key HR metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Review and update HR policies and practices to maintain compliance and reflect best practices.

  • Travel locally between facilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on HR Generalist or Senior Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Ability to make sound, timely decisions under pressure.

  • Experience with HR metrics and data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong presentation and active listening skills.

  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and HRIS systems.
