LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Commercial Collections professional for a growing client in Harrison, OH. The B2B Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from our business clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of credit and collections processes, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients. This position is Temp to Hire and will pay between $21 and $25/hr.
Responsibilities
- Contact business clients to collect outstanding invoices and resolve any billing issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
- Analyze client accounts to identify overdue payments and prioritize collection efforts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities and account statuses.
- Monitor and follow up on payment commitments to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and legal requirements related to collections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B collections or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit and collections principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
