LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an HR Generalist. The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive support to the HR department, assisting with various human resources initiatives. This role encompasses promoting a positive work culture, administering policies, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
Support the VP of People and Culture with administrative tasks, such as maintaining virtual HR files and employee records
Promote and implement "best place to work" culture initiatives
Administer HR policies and ensure compliance with regulations
Manage new hire onboarding, orientation, and off-boarding processes
Assist with all cycles of the recruitment process and candidate coordination
Plan and prepare materials for training sessions and presentations
Organize and coordinate events, including those led by the culture committee
Address routine questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Organize and facilitate monthly organizational meetings and other events
Coordinate performance management cycles, including launching and closing each cycle and providing regular reporting
Provide support in semi-annual discretionary bonus and salary review cycles
Conduct external salary benchmarking and job evaluations
Maintain internal job architecture documentation and any corresponding internal communication
Conduct pay equity analysis to identify and address any disparities in compensation
Assist with payroll processing, including bi-weekly and weekly updates to employee files, tracking vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes
Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organization chart
Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements
Recommend strategies to motivate and engage employees
Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
3-5 years of demonstrable HR Generalist experience
Working knowledge of HR information systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now) preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong analytical skills and ability to perform financial analysis in Excel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Hours:
9:00am-5:00pm
Monday through Friday
