Title: HR Coordinator

Location: Hauppauge, NY

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, Full-Time Onsite

Hourly Rate: $25-27; based on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated HR Coordinator to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This position is temporary with the potential to transition to permanent based on performance and business needs. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with recruitment efforts including job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.

- Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately and timely.

- Manage payroll processing and administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs and policy updates.

- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

- Collaborate with management to ensure HR practices align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

- Assist with employee relations issues and investigations as needed.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of previous HR experience required; exposure to recruitment is highly desirable.

- Experience with payroll processing is a significant advantage.

- Must be able to work full-time onsite in Hauppauge, NY.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

- Desire to pursue a long-term career in HR and grow within the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
