Job Title: HRIS Specialist (UKG Focus)
Location: Hicksville, NY (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, plus bonus and excellent benefits
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HRIS Specialist with a strong focus on UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) to join our team in Hicksville, NY. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working three days on-site and two days from home. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing UKG across all modules to support our HR operations and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
UKG System Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all UKG modules, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the HRIS. Regularly audit and update data to maintain high standards.
Reporting and Analysis: Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support HR and management decision-making. Utilize UKG reporting tools to analyze data and identify trends.
User Support and Training: Provide technical support to HR staff and end-users. Conduct training sessions and create user guides to enhance system utilization.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR operations. Implement best practices and leverage UKG capabilities to enhance efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure HRIS compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting HRIS.
Project Management: Lead and participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and process enhancements.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with UKG in a similar HRIS role. Comprehensive knowledge of UKG modules and functionalities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically UKG. Strong Excel skills required and familiarity with SQL or other data query tools are a plus.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Project Management: Experience managing HRIS projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
