We are seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to join one of our clients in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate customer accounts. This is a contract to hire position looking to hire as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
· Call customers about past due balances.
· Notify the Credit Supervisor of invoices over 90 days with a plan of action for payment plans and collections.
· Process new and inactive credit applications.
· Run credit reports, check references, establish credit limits, and confirm tax status.
· Update customer accounts and determine if new credit information is needed.
· Mail monthly customer statements on the second business day of the month.
· Maintain a weekly call log with an average of 15 calls a day.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or 3-5 years related work experience.
· Intermediate Excel skills and experience in a manufacturing environment
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to work independently and with a team
· Ability to perform under strict deadlines
· Communicate professionally both internally and externally
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
