We are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant job in High Point, NC! This is a fully, on-site role. You are responsible for supporting the administrative and operational needs for the Operations and Sales Management teams. This is a very blended role! You will be responsible for inputting quotes, handling customer issues, preparing for sample shows, competitor research, sales reporting, you name it. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years of sales support experience, manufacturing and consumer good industry experience preferred!
Responsibilities:
Retail Link related task (input quote ID, Item Creation forms, content sheet, and uploading images to scene 7/Adobe Dynamic Classic media platform.
BPM related tasks (quote solicitation, Item agreement completion, NLC loading approvals) and requesting loopbacks as necessary.
Requesting all related documents required to complete RL & BPM.
Responding to and monitoring daily customer issues that are sales related as a sales supporting role.
Assisting in the weekly meeting with all relative team members regarding all sales accounts. Covering all topics, including sales, problems, improvements, and opportunities.
Assist operations and sales management team with organizing of events such as sample shows, market planning, power point presentations, style-out or line review documentation.
Coordination of research activities (store surveys, competitive profiling, etc.)
Assisting in setting up of UPC’s
Weekly sales reporting
Assist in training, reviewing and approving Quotes & Item Agreements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
At least 3 years of sales support experience
Manufacturing experience preferred
Consumer goods experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
E-Commerce experience preferred.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Good organizational skills
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Good prioritization skills, yet flexible enough to adapt plans
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Understanding of complex information and requirements
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Superior non-verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
