Position: Senior Human Resources Generalist

Location: High Point, NC

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer to find a strategic, forward-thinking Senior HR Generalist to join their High Point, NC team. This role is pivotal in shaping the employee experience and driving HR strategy.

This isn’t your typical tactical HR role. You won’t be processing payroll or updating job titles in the system. Instead, you’ll be influencing the influencers—empowering managers, aligning with leadership, and executing high-impact initiatives that shape the future of the plant.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership and supervisors—60% of your time will be spent in conversations that matter.

  • Lead and support 3–5 key HR initiatives at a time, focused on continuous improvement, employee engagement, and organizational development.

  • Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and HR Director to drive culture, efficiency, and accountability.

  • Provide guidance and pushback when needed—this team values HR professionals who can play chess, not checkers.

  • Navigate complex challenges with autonomy and foresight—this is a role for someone who thrives without hand-holding.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • Proven ability to insert yourself into strategic conversations and influence outcomes.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with SAP and Kronos systems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills—comfortable having hard conversations and setting priorities.

  • High level of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a progressive mindset.

  • Bachelor’s degree
