LHH is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for our client who provides robotics solutions in fabrication environments. This role is a compressed work week, night shift opportunity located in the Portland, OR market. The ideal candidate has exposure to electrical schematics, mechanical aptitude and strong communication.
Essential Duties:
Adhere to safety protocols and report issues.
Install and maintain products.
Locate software revisions and verify status.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Obtain Factory Training and Certification.
Act as a liaison between customers and company engineering.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent technical certification.
0-2 years of technical field service experience.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in PC skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform various physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work safely in clean room environments and confined spaces.
Exposure to various elements and moderate noise levels.
