Production Supervisor Swing Shift

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per Year
- Problem Resolution: Assist operators with troubleshooting and resolving issues, including root cause analysis and quality concerns.
- Workflow Management: Optimize workflow to maximize efficiency and ensure safe use of capacity and staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead 6S activities and drive ongoing improvements in the production area.
- Training and Development: Provide training and necessary tools to employees to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners, including planning, quality assurance, and vendors.
- Performance Management: Manage time and attendance records, approve timecards and time-off requests, and conduct performance reviews. Perform regular one-on-one meetings and adjust goals as needed.
- Coaching and Discipline: Implement coaching and disciplinary actions when required.
- Scheduling and Delegation: Create team schedules and delegate tasks to ensure proper workflow.
- System Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft programs and ERP systems to track and monitor employee performance and production metrics.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated Lead or Supervisory experience. Experience in a Lean environment and semiconductor industry is a plus.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication (both verbal and written), and organizational skills. Ability to provide constructive feedback and make sound decisions. Basic skills in MS Office and blueprint reading are required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations related to employment practices, rights, and safety.
- Salary: Starts at $70,000, with potential for more based on qualifications and experience.
