The Medical Office Clerk is responsible for performing general filing duties, handling financial transactions, and managing the intake, scheduling, and outsourcing of referrals. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will have basic to intermediate computer skills and experience in clerical office tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Sort and file materials, correspondence, records, business forms, or other documents according to an alpha, numeric, date, subject, or color-coded system.

  • Review document content to determine correct filing.

  • Check manual files for duplicates, missing, or misfiled items.

  • Prepare filed materials for storage and destroy documents according to guidelines.

  • Set up and maintain manual filing systems.

  • Proofread documents and complete forms accurately.

  • Produce lists, labels, forms, or other documents as needed.

  • Count documents and materials, group into batches, and tabulate batch totals.

  • Perform basic mail distribution activities.

  • Intake of referrals, schedule referrals, and outsource referrals as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management or similar.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

  • Experience with epic, preferred

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Effective communication abilities.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Must be flexible to work weekend rotation

Onsite Honolulu, HI 96819 | Monday to Friday | $21-24/hr. DOE | Contract



Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
