Accountant II

LHH has partnered with a manufacturing organization that is seeking an Accountant in Houston, Tx. This role is crucial in supporting the day-to-day functions of the Americas Region Ledgers and Controls team. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end close activities

• Reconcile general ledger activity

• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

• Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations

• Manage Fixed Asset Management for Global Service.

• Support Physical Inventory

• Prepare variance analysis

• Support internal and external audits.

• Maintain internal controls

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting or Finance.

• 2 + years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in financial records and reports.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work efficiently.
