We are partnering with a major corporate tax consulting firm located in Houston, TX, to identify an enthusiastic Accounting Specialist replace a recently promoted incumbant!

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any field of study with some working experience highly preferred.

Salary for the Accountant ranges between $50K and $54K per year depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Use established strategies to contact clients via telephone to facilitate collection of outstanding receivables.

• Cultivate strong client relationships by delivering an exceptional client experience, creating "Raving Fans" organically.

• Document client interactions and action items for the business development team to enhance client relationships and revenue opportunities.

• Provide solutions to client inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.

• Prepare account reconciliations for services rendered on various projects.

• Conduct research to address client billing issues and ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with internal business colleagues on strategic initiatives to optimize client outcomes.

• Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing ideas and suggestions to elevate client interactions and service excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in ANY field of study

• Minimum of 1 year of professional working experience, preferably in accounting or finance but not required

• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

• Intermediate in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
