Job Opening: Accounts Receivable Collector

A dynamic and growing organization in the engineering and construction sector is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable (AR) Collector to take full ownership of collections across the company. This is an opportunity with offering a competitive salary and a collaborative work environment.

  • The company is undergoing a system conversion, and your Excel expertise will be critical in managing data and reporting during this transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead companywide collections efforts, maintaining and updating aging reports.

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to facilitate timely payments.

  • Partner with project managers to support or take over collections when needed.

  • Analyze and present collection data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

  • Assist in the development of new AR policies and procedures to streamline processes.

  • Manage lien rights and waiver documentation to protect receivables.

  • Process draws using platforms such as Textura, Procore, and internal systems.

  • Identify and recover aged receivables, including those over 120 days past due.

What You Bring:

  • Proven success in B2B collections, ideally in a multi-division or project-based environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and comfort working with large datasets.

  • Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus

  • No medical or healthcare collections

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $55,000–$65,000 annually / $26.44/hr. - $31.25/hr., based on experience and qualifications.



Pay Details: $26.44 to $31.25 per hour
