Job Title: Bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant
Location: Houston area, Texas
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hr (DOE)
As a Bilingual Spanish Administrative Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support while serving as a vital communication link between English- and Spanish-speaking employees, clients, or customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and possesses excellent bilingual communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administrative Support: Manage filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation tasks.
- Bilingual Communication: Translate and interpret verbal and written communication between English and Spanish as needed.
- Customer Service: Professionally assist internal and external contacts in both languages via phone, email, and in person.
- Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and conference calls efficiently.
- Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and edit emails, memos, reports, and other business communications in both English and Spanish.
- Records Management: Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
- Office Coordination: Assist with ordering office supplies, equipment maintenance, and liaising with vendors.
- Project Assistance: Support various departmental projects and initiatives.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of administrative or office support experience.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Professionalism: Dependable, punctual, and maintains a professional demeanor.
- Adaptability: Able to work independently and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Comfortable working with diverse teams and clients.
